We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, at the age of 88, Nancy Freeman of Cartersville, Georgia, born in Rome, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Freeman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Leemaster Carter and Robert Edwin Joyce; her husband Henry Larkin Freeman Jr. of Shannon; and her siblings, Charles Mitchell, Robert E. Joyce Jr., Shirley Joyce Walker, Jimmy Carter and Jerry Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Dale Freeman (Valerie), Kathryn Gail Thiessen (Jules) and Robert Larkin Freeman (Tara); her grandchildren, Matthew Lee Freeman (Ashley), Brandon Alexander Rich, Kevin David Freeman (Mary), Bethany Faith Freeman, Alison Joyce Freeman, Andrew Larkin Freeman and Jonathan Campbell; her great grandchildren, Liam Freeman, Levi Freeman, Landon Freeman, Alexander Rich and Freya Freeman; and her son Ken. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Despite being affected by the onset of Alzheimer's, Nancy again formed friendships with residents and staff and was loved for her shining spirit.
