She was predeceased by: her father John Thomas Heard; her husband John Reuben Peeks; and her children, Greg and Julie. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Peeks (Alpha), Sandra Williams, Anessia Loyal (Carlen) and Iva Banks; her brother Ernest Dean (Linda); and her siblings-in-law, Claude Peeks, Alma Heard and Shirley Henderson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home (210 N Bartow St, Cartersville, GA 30120). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (26 Shiloh Church Rd, Taylorsville, GA 30178). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Providence Cemetery (165 Old Tennessee Rd NE, Cartersville, GA 30121).
