He is survived by: his sister Peggy Ann; his wife Mary Alice Johnson; his sister Rosa Spivey (Allen); his siblings-in-law, Sharon Jones of Atlanta, GA, Rosanna Shaw of Cartersville, GA, Gloria Scott, Barbara James of Marietta, GA, Jacquelyn Scott of Dallas, GA, Sarah James Freeman of Detroit, MI and Brake Lucas of Detroit, MI; his uncles, James Robert Templeton of Syracuse, NY and Gazaway Templeton (Gwen) of Rome, GA.; his cousin Queen Lowe of Cartersville, GA; his niece Patrice Johnson of Smyrna, GA; his close friends, Frank Gary of Cartersville, GA, Charles Johnson, Wheeler Johnson (Mirchelle) of Columbus, GA, Charles Foster (Vyola) of Cartersville, GA, Sherman Broadnax (Patricia) of Cartersville, GA and Bonheur Broadnax (Brenda) of Atlanta, GA; his caregiver Charmon Shelnutt; and his friends, Colin Buffaloe, Ka'tice Jones, John Kaden, Shannon Winters, Melissa Riddle (Randy) and Hendricks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends and extended family.
Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be admitted to the service.
At Christmas time he would donate to the church in order to help the children enjoy Christmas and its true meaning.
