He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Elias Clifton and Mary Lawrence Clifton; his wife Frankie Williams Clifton; and his siblings, Gladys Osman, Pauline Wall, Henry Clifton, Douglas Clifton and Euel Clifton.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Clifton and Cindy DeSimone; his brother Bill Clifton; and his stepsons, Joe Ben Williams and Glenn Williams. He is also survived by loving grandfather having been blessed with 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
