She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Dean Smith and Bertha Blanche Lacey Smith; her husband Billy Frank Nelson; and her son Ronnie Nelson. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dusty Nelson and Nicole Dobbs (Clayton); her siblings, Dot Alverson (Curly), Hugh Lee Smith (Betty), Jackie Hughes and Patsy Amerson (Joe); her sister-in-law Betty Nell Ezell; and her close friends, Dorothy Jenkins, Ann Jones and Terry Kelly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
