She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Burnett Pierce and Julia Pearl McConkey Pierce; her husband James Raper; her grandson Travis Rich; her great grandchild Jubilee Violette; and her siblings, Mildred "Micki" Bales, Mary Ruth White, Bill Seacrest, Orville, Rance, Howard, Robert, Troy, Drewey and Homer Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, James Ferguson (Ramona), Frances Defendorf (Darryl), Frank Strong (Angie) and Sidney Strong (Sonya); her grandchildren, Danny Ferguson, David Ferguson, Will Ferguson, Heather Cuthbert, Michael Cuthbert, Ember Ferguson Violette, Tara Lancaster, Lindsay Pike, Adam Defendorf, Emily Defendorf, Kiersten Shamblin, Logan Strong, Ashley Strong and McKenzie Strong; and her sisters, Marie McCarter, Luria Fritts and Joyce Howell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
