He is survived by: his wife Mildred Massey Starkebaum; his daughters, Linda Holcomb and Lisa Sanford (Scott); his grandchildren, Chris Holcomb (Nancy), Caroline Lamberti (Ricardo), Jonathan Sanford and Madison Sanford; his great grandchildren, Hendrix, Gannon Holcomb, McKenna, McKenzie and Magnolia Lamberti; and his siblings, Lucille Logan and Ralph Starkebaum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
