He was predeceased by: his wife Becky Purvis. He is survived by: his children, Thomas "Eddie" Purvis (Lori) and Rebecca Kelley Thomas; his sisters, Marie P. Whytsell, Sue Purvis Otts and Joyce P. McNut; and his grandchildren, Marie Taylor, Autumn West and Caleb Thomas. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
