It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katiesue O'Shields of Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nichols and Lorena Nichols; her husband William O'Shields; her grandson Brandon Shaw; and her siblings, Evelyn Sheppered, Henry Nichols, Bill Nichols, Alizabeth Crawford, Hazel Rodgers, Woodrow Nichols, Vivian Turner, Patricia Cathy, Butch Nichols, Virginia Gullet and Jimmy Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, William O'Shields (Kitty) of Cartersville, GA and Amanda O'Shields of Atlanta, GA; her stepdaughter Lynn Turner (Kelly) of Chattanooga, TN; her brothers, David Nichols (Marilyn) of Dallas, GA and Robert Nichols (Judy) of Cedartown, GA; and her grandchildren, Stormie O'Shields of Cartersville, GA., Summer O'Shields of Cartersville, GA., Will O'Shields of Cartersville, GA. and Bryan Whitman of Cartersville, GA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
