He was predeceased by: his parent J. D. Seay of Whitter; his stepfather Duvall Campbell (Pop); his sisters, Jackie Hardin and Teresa Guthrie; his granddaughter Alexandra; and his grandparents, Evelyn, Jack Williamson, Lillian and Auther Seay.

He is survived by: his children, Ashley Diaz (Martin) of Cartersville, GA, Fallon Seay of Sylva and Rickie Seay of Sylva; and his nephew Jack. He is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
