It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Joe Woolridge Sr. of Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jerry Joe may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank Woolridge and Mildred Iris Blachley Woolridge; and his son-in-law Joel Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Ida Fekete Woolridge; and his children, Carrie Copeland, Tamara Ritchie (Dan), Jerry Woolridge, Jr., Twyla Strasburg (Lee) and Nikki Hollingsworth (Jeff). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (477 Old Cassville White Rd NW, Cartersville, GA 30121).
