Janet Black Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Black (Cartersville, Georgia), who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward C. Evans and Rena Louise Evans; her daughter Kimberly Denise Black; her sister Barbara Robson (Evans); and her niece Amanda Griffith (Evans).

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie (Black) and Melanie Black; her grandchildren, Dustin Wilson (Lyn), Brittany Dempsey and Asa Dempsey; her great grandchildren, Devon, Kaitlyn and Luna; and her siblings, Allen Evans (Linda), Dale Godfrey (Henry) and Gale Thomas (Terry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, greats, & cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you instead give flowers to the living to spread the seeds of love.
