It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul Summerour Jr. of Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thurston C. and Daisy P. Durrah. He is survived by: his parents, Cathy Anders and James Summerour, Sr.; his foster mother Terri A. Durrah; his siblings, Christy Summerour, Tiffany Tipps, Aaron Summerour, Michael Summerour, Adam Fisher, Lewis V. Durrah, N. Mitchell L. Watters, Mykah S. Hurley, Perssia G. Durrah, Destiny L. Durrah, Julia M. Durrah and Maliyah D. Dillard; and his aunts, Juanita Swaggerty and Sharon Glover. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (210 N Bartow St, Cartersville, GA 30120). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Providence Cemetery (165 Old Tennessee Rd NE, Cartersville, GA 30121).
