He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Cochran and Collene Cochran; his siblings, Harold Cochran, Louise Willis and Dot Elrod Greene; and his grandson Daley Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Nelson Cochran of Cartersville; his children, Todd Cochran of Adairsville and Natalie (Gary Wallin); his stepchildren, Jason, Connie Arp of Cartersville, Kathy and Dennis Buchan of Euharlee; and his sister Donna (Gary Howren). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Euharlee Baptist Church (1103 Euharlee Rd SW, Euharlee, GA 30145). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
His contributions to his community and his family were many, and his absence will be deeply felt.Jake was preceded in death by his parents, William P. and Collene Cochran; his brothers and sister-in-law, Don and Marcella Cochran, and Harold Cochran; his sisters, Louise Willis and Dot Elrod Greene; and his grandson, Daley Moore.
