It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estelle Matthews of Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther House and Lula House; her husband Henry G. Matthews; and her grandsons, Jason Scott and Matthew Grady Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Cate Cushman, Carolyn Payne (Danny), Sha Saunders and Margaret Summey (Larry); her grandchildren, Hal Payne (Michelle), Chase Cushman (Naomi), Brady Arp (Tracey), Kriss Cochran (Tim) and Amanda Martin (Rodney); her great grandchildren, Will Payne, Cammi Payne, Daniel Payne, Olivia Payne, Adalyn Payne, Claire Cushman, Brock Arp (Mallorie), Drake Arp, Kristen Whitten (Dalton), Adam Martin, Bryce Martin and Emily Cochran; and her great great grandchild Asher Whitten.
