He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hayes and Faye Osborn White; his stepfather Bernie White; and his siblings, Dennis Hayes and Donna Dover.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Jackson Hayes; his children, Maya Arabia (Al) and Michael Hayes (Ashley); his grandchildren, Gavin Arabia and Brock Hayes; and his brother Darell Hayes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
