He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Pinson and Bertie Fields Blalock Pinson; his wife Sarah Jo Gruber Pinson; his son-in-law Thomas Smith; his granddaughter Allie Griner; and his siblings, Mildred Arnold, Nancy Jenkins, C. J. Pinson, Hutson Pinson, Hugh Pinson, Walter Pinson and Charles Pinson.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Pinson (Pamela), Elaine Smith and Carol Griner (David); his grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Will Smith, Caleb Griner, Jacob Griner (Anda) and Isaac Griner; his great grandchild JD Griner; and his siblings, Clarkie Pinson Grant (Bob), Alton Pinson (Bernice) and Marvin Pinson (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Raccoon Creek Baptist Church (1808 GA-113, Cartersville, GA 30120). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Raccoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1808 GA-113, Cartersville, GA 30120).
