He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alvin Hufstetler and Ruby Christine Waits Hufstetler; his siblings, Robert Johnny Hufstetler and Ann Dover; his parents-in-law, Pete and Faye Leachman; and his sister-in-law Rachel Wilkey.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Leachman Hufstetler; his daughters, Carman Jones (Jody) and Carly Drummond (Phil); his grandchildren, Joseph Jones (Lindsey), Kaylee Southern (Luke), Ericka Drummond and Kyndall Drummond; his great grandchildren, Hadley Grace Jones, Tucker Jones and Jaycee Rae Southern; his sisters, Jean Sanford and Frances Shoemaker; and his nephew Todd Sanford. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (319 N Erwin St, Cartersville, GA 30120).
