He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgel Lee and Mzillie Cothern Lee; and his brothers, Leroy Lee, William "Bill" Lee and Marvin Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Dickson Lee; his son Greg Lee (Sherry); his grandchildren, Nicholas Lee (Jesica), Scott Johnson (Mary), Leann Rogers (John) and Adrienne Cochran (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Abigail Lee, Olivia Lee, Kaitlin Rogers and Amelia Cochran; his brother Earl Lee; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Murphy. He is also survived by his brothers, grandsons, and nephews.
