She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Edward Mathis (Eddie); her parents, Lee Whitten and Alice Whitten Darnell; and her brother John Whitten. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Caroline, Audrey, Chloe, Sophie, Bode and Maisie; her sisters, Linda Martin (Billy) and Elizabeth Parmer; her sister-in-law Brenda Mathis (Parker); and her nephew Todd Mathis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services (430 Cassville Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120).
