He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Johnson and Balma Lee Holton Johnson; his wife Bonnie Nelle Shirah Johnson; and his siblings, Darrell Evin Johnson, Stanley Preston Johnson and Avis Terissa Johnson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Roscoe Lorenzo Johnson of Cairo, Georgia and George Linwood Johnson of Cairo, Georgia; his daughter Katherine Johnson Fields; his son-in-law Jayson Welles Fields of Kingston, Georgia; his son Albert Lee Johnson Jr.; his daughter-in-law Margaret F. Johnson of New York City; and his grandchildren, Spencer Jackson Fields, Henry Ian Fields, Frances Isabelle Fields, Timothy Dean Johnson and Owen Albert Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.
