He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Carnes and Gertrude Carnes; his wife Juanita Faye Carnes; and his sister Eleanor Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Adrian "Ricky" Carnes, Clinton "Ted" Carnes, Priscilla Carnes Absher, Andrea Wilson and Renita Walker; his grandchildren, Melissa Carnes, Melinda Trotter, Maria Courtney, Karen McSwain, Anthony Walker, Amber Walker Hickok and Anna Wilson; and his brother Edward Carnes. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
