Wayne Nelson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Nelson of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Fertile, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Nelson and Hazel Ashling Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Susan "Sue" Harshaw Nelson; his children, Kathy Kirk (Gary) of Carrollton, GA, Sarah Wiggins (Alan) of Ranburne, AL and Jeff Nelson (Leslie) of St. Simons Island, GA; his sister Diane Erickson (Allen) of Fertile, MN; his grandchildren, Austin Kirk, Hunter Kirk, Sofie Runyon and Mary Harmon Nelson; and his nieces and nephews, Nancy Riveland, Liz Lisburg, Paul Erickson and Herbert Stahl.
