He was predeceased by: his parents, Young Jackson "Jack" Allen and Lena Elizabeth Yearta Allen; his siblings, Irene Garrett, Aline McKenzie, Dolly Sorrell, Doris Rogers, Jessie Mae Adams, Freeman Buck Allen, Lamar Pete Allen, Melvin Eugene Allen and Wayne Allen; and his granddaughter Stephanie Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jiles Allen; his children, April Harris (Tim), Dwayne Allen, Julie Meeks (Jamie Meeks) and Jennifer Allen Frazier; and his sister Laverne Hayes. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Almon Chapel (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117).
