Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Allen and Dorothy Brooks Allen. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Adeline Wilson Allen; and his children, Wendy Chapman of Carrollton, Georgia, Annette McFarland of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Jerry (Karen Allen) and Jim (Linda Bosworth). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and numerous extended family.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Old Pathway Baptist Church (508 Old Airport Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116).
