He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Earl Carl, Sr. and Fay Macdonald Carl; his wife Lynn Womack Carl; and his daughter Jane Carl Yates. He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Carl Cooke; his son-in-law Kenneth of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Carl Cooke (Katy), Lauren Cooke, Thomas Walter Yates and Samuel Lowen Yates (Carmen Lydia Morgan); and his friend Tabernacle Baptist Church.
