He was predeceased by: his parents, DeWayne Charles Herman and Mary Sommer Herman of Miller, SD.; his grandparents, Mike and Edith Herman of Miller, SD; his stepgrandmother Beth Herman of Big Lake, MN; his grandparents, Lawrence and Helen Sommer of Miller; his in-laws, Clarence and Sara Redding of Temple, GA; and his brother-in-law Bernie Huisman of Miller, SD..
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Redding Herman of Carrollton, GA; his siblings, Ginger Huisman of Miller, SD, Larry Herman (Dianne) of Miller, SD, Jill Laird (Bob) of Sioux Falls, SD and Patrick Herman of Miller, SD; and his brother-in-law Randy Redding of Temple, GA.. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives.
