It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theron Dow Jennings Jr. (Carrollton, Georgia), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Gatewood Jennings and Theron Dow Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Horne of Americus; his children, Sheron Pilcher (Mark) of Griffin, Jeff Jennings (Kathy) of Roswell and Nancy Smith (Len) of Highland Lake, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Emily Pilcher Kroncke (Will), Lane Pilcher, Drew Smith (Jessica), Madelyn Smith, Morgan Bean (Andy), Tyler Jennings (Casey), Cal and Jordan Jennings; his great grandchildren, Connor, Rosalie, Shepherd Smith, Carson Fulford, Daniel, Thomas Bean and Cullen Kroncke; his sister Ann Singer of Columbus; his nephew Sam Singer, Jr.; and his niece Susan Singer Patterson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the First Baptist Church (102 Dixie St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Carrollton.
