He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Cook and Lora Worthy Cook; and his siblings, Emily Windom, Darlene Cook, Melbern Cook and O'Neal Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Simpson Cook of Carrollton; his children, Louise (Dennis Hutcheson), Elaine Sutton (Scottie Cochran) and Steven; his daughter-in-law Dawn Cook of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Kenneth Hutcheson (Desiree), Drew Hutcheson (Haley), T. J. Sutton (Lyndsey), Holly Partridge (Andrew), Amy Hudgins (Joseph) and Haley Cook (Lane Nelms); and his siblings, Madelyn Crumpler, Ollie Faye Bradbary, Rachel Pollard, Patricia Edwards, Retha Sue Adams, Sandra Gordon, Judy Brown, Homer Cook and Dearl Cook. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
