She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Todd, Sr. and Lillie Lee Todd; her husband Charles Carter of Carter's Men Shop; her brother J. T. Todd, Jr.; her sister-in-law Myrle Todd; and her sister Bernice Pilgrim.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa C. (Phil Stamps), Beverly C. (Brian Morse) and Dr. Edwyn; her daughter-in-law Mary Kathryn Carter; her grandchildren, Brad Morse, Bryan, Karmen Stamps, Chris, Laura Stamps, Lee, Monica Morse, Melissa Morse, Jonathan, Melissa Stamps, Alex Carter, Mollie Carter and Hamp Carter; her great grandchildren, Shelby Stamps, Emma Stamps, Carter Stamps, Braydon Stamps, Odin Fitch, Ally Stamps, Ayla Morse and Mateo Morse; her sister Charlene Grantham; and her siblings-in-law, Jerrell, Kathy Carter, Rodney, Gail Carter, Damon Carter and Don Grantham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
