He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harrison Wilkie and Pearl Mabel Wallace Wilkie; his son Brad Wilkie; and his siblings, Chuck Wilkie, Jerry Wilkie, Gerald Wilkie, Jimmy Wilkie and Geneva Hannah.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Wilkie of Whitesburg, GA, Tommy, Laurie Wilkie of Woodland, AL, Ben Wilkie (Kristie Mayne) of Tallapoosa, GA and Susan Wilkie of Roanoke, AL; his sister Bonnie; and his brother-in-law Billy Carter of Powder Springs, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a ton of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Anglican Church (8486 Bowden St, Douglasville, GA 30134).
In lieu of flowers, his family humbly requests that blanket donations be made for the elderly in nursing facilities.
