He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard C. Richards and Ida Mae "Peggy" Herrin Richards; and his brother-in-law Doyle Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Donald Richards; his children, Jeff, Nikki Richards, Joel, Stephanie Richards, DeAnn and Tim "Coach" Duffey; his sister Carolyn Wilson; and his sister-in-law Margie Land. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
