He was predeceased by : his parents, Junior "J. D. Pete" Davis and Melba Shadrix Davis; and his brother Jeff Davis. He is survived by : his wife Mary Jane McWhorter Davis; his sons, Chris Davis (Niccole) and Dustin Davis (Meghan); his grandchildren, Ansley, Beckett, Charleston Davis, Monroe and Evie Davis; and his siblings, Ella Akin (John), Rodney Davis (Paula) and Janet Gilbert (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 102 Dixie Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117.
