He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Joseph Hendricks and Christine Couch Hendricks; and his wife Deborah G. Hendricks. He is survived by: his close friend Aimee Berger; his children, Amanda Kay Hendricks and Derek Randall Hendricks; and his brothers, Mark Hendricks (Donna) and Nathan Hendricks (Melinda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
