Phillip Lynn Pitts Obituary

Mr. Phillip Lynn Pitts, age 65, of Carrollton passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Phillip was born October 12, 1957 in Atlanta, GA son of the late Able Grant Pitts and the late Gertrude Morrison Pitts. He worked as a heavy hauler for Turner Heavy Hauling and in his free time, Phillip enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and hunting. He was Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Pitts, Michael Pitts and sister, Kimmel Ayers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda Jane Jiles Pitts; daughter Samantha Lynn Brison of Douglasville; step-son, Billy Joseph Etheridge of Austell; and two brothers, Grant Pitts of Douglasville and Ronnie Pitts of South Carolina, several grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
