Myra Lee Denney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myra Lee Denney (Carrollton, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myra Lee Denney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Webster Lee and Leila Todd Lee; her husband Howard Denney; her son Dale Denney; her grandchildren, Cullie Denney, Jean Duke and Tommy Poncela; and her sisters, Joyce McKibben, Faye Lanier and Edith Marlow.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Allen Rooks), Gelene, Jane (Russell Cooper) and David (Mary Denney); and her siblings, Jean White, Helen (Johnny Acree) and Troy Lee. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (2829 Oak Grove Church Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
