She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Lewis DeFore and Rochelle Yarborough (Hutchins); her former husbands, Melvin Nail and Henry Silvers; her husband Houstin Hutton; her siblings, Lewis DeFore, Ronnie DeFore, Gladys Cox and Ramona DeFore; and her stepmother Bonnie DeFore.
She is survived by: her son Larry; her daughter-in-law Lisa Nail of Martin, Georgia; her daughter Katherine; her son-in-law David Tovey of Temple, Georgia; her siblings, Robert (Melissa DeFore), Greg (Nancy DeFore), Lisa (Ed Barnes) and Debbie (Ronald Radford); her grandchildren, Clint (Kimberly Nail), Allie (Vincent Lim), Kyle (Emily Tovey) and Derek Tovey; her great grandchildren, Julianna Nail, Ethan Nail, Cole Tovey, David Tovey, Katie Tovey and Alina Lim; and her siblings-in-law, Martin Nail, Betty DeFore and Betty Nail. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
