He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Daniel and Elizabeth Willingham Lankford; and his parents-in-law, Ross, Ella Mae Oliver and Skipper.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Oliver Lankford; his son Ryan Lankford; his close friend Beth Thompson; his daughter Kathryn Lankford; his close friend Xenofon Konstantinou; his grandsons, Patrick, Garrett, Luke Lankford and Jaden Thompson; his sister Jan; his brother-in-law Lamar Robinson; his brother Terry Lankford; his siblings-in-law, Jerry, Jeanie Oliver, Carol and Ricky Wright; and his niece Rachel Wright Snoddy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
