Mavis Yvonne Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mavis Yvonne Brown of Carrollton, Georgia, born in San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sexton and Louise Sexton Vander Martin of San Antonio; and her children, Laura Sacandy and James C. Mathis, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Carroll Brown; her children, Karen Sacandy and Mark S. Sacandy (Rosemarie G. Sacandy); her siblings, Judy Hudgins (Gary), Barbara Schmidt, Mike Sexton and Fred Vander Martin; and her grandchildren, Natalie West (Josh) and Nicolas Sacandy (Karen). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
