We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 95, Marvin Tyson of Carrollton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Watson Tyson and Louella Timmons Tyson; and his siblings, Lewis Tyson, Ralph Tyson, Herman Tyson, Marie Daniell, Katherine Robertson and Marion Norton.
He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Tyson; and his siblings, Helen Tyson Weems, Kinney Tyson and Hubert Tyson (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Melrose Hills Memorial Gardens (9446 Villa Rica Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
