She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Dewey Nixon and Ernestine Cook Nixon; her husband Clifford "C. C." Perkins; her son Wiley Morris Perkins; and her sisters, Dorothy Ashmore and Jeanette Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Cliff Perkins (Ellen) and Ann-Margaret Perkins; her grandchildren, Jason Perkins (April), Derek Perkins (Danielle) and Crystal Perkins; her great grandchildren, Alex Perkins, Chloe Perkins and Samantha Perkins; and her close friend Newman Striplin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
