She was predeceased by: her parents, L. E. Teal and Jimmie Lee Windom Teal; her husband Hubert McDonald, Jr.; her daughter Sandra "Sandee" Thornburg; and her siblings, James Teal, Jerry Teal, Lillian Teal Moore, Sibyl Teal Estes, Margie Teal Reeves, Berna Teal Burson and Ramona Teal Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Charles Scott McDonald (Cheryl); her granddaughters, Shelley McDonald Waller (Harrison), Lauren Callaway Nahodyl (Brian) of Cumming, Georgia and Anna Callaway Karleskint (Jake) of Kansas City, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Silas Rylie Karleskint and William Scott Nahodyl; her siblings, Dewey Teal (Ramona) of Carrollton and Dr. Janice Teal of Carrollton; her son-in-law Kirk Thornburg; and her siblings-in-law, Troy Reeves, Sr., Susanna Teal and Elizabeth "Libba" McDonald. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Almon Chapel (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A reception was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Venue (809 Cedar St, Carrollton, GA 30117).
