As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lucy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henderson and Grace Rooks Copeland; and her brothers, Otis, Cecil, Dan, Robby and W. A. Copeland.
She is survived by: her sisters, Linda Green of Carroll Manor, Virginia Geter (Dwain) of Roopville and Martha Pierce of Burwell. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Methodist Church (1874 Burwell Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
