It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lounell Strickland Harwell (Carrollton, Georgia), who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Strickland and Ellen Josephine Fielder Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Bobby; her family Barry Harwell of Carrollton; her granddaughter Brooke Harwell; her great grandchildren, Porter Watts Nelson, Hank Harwell and Pete Cofer Harwell of Peachtree City; and her siblings, Jimmy Kermit Strickland of Mount Zion and Sandra Strickland Lepard (John) of Waco, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations of support may be made to First Baptist Church of Carrollton, 102 Dixie Street, Carrollton Ga. 30117 and Sacred Journey Hospice, 125 Oak Hill Blvd, Newnan, Ga 30265.
