She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Reese and Mary Robinson McGuire; her husband James Jackson; and her siblings, Ralph McGuire (Nell), Billy McGuire (Dessie), Allene Robinson (Aaron), Myrl Wilson (Doss), Syble Fowler (Troy), Doris Rowland (Carl) and Betty Smith (Harold).
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Jackson Vance (Tony) and Scott Jackson (Michele); her grandchildren, Brian (Amanda Vance), Brittany (Zach Shryock), Ben (Darby Vance), Timothy Jackson, Joshua Hill and Joseph Hill; her siblings, Joe McGuire (Josephine), Jimmy McGuire (Linda) and June Hosey (Darrell); and also, Myra and Michael Shryock.
