She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Hurley and Lexa Ann Pool Hurley; her son Chris Smith; and her siblings, Letha Rice and John Hurley.
She is survived by: her husband Dewey Lamar Smith; her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Kristi Smith; her daughter Lisa Rasbury; her siblings, Pat Holmes and James Hurley; her grandchildren, William, Emily Smith, Cody, Addison Smith, Brian Smith, Amber, Luke Peacock, Austin Smith, Aaron, Haley Smith, Shellie Rasbury and Caitlin Rasbury; and her great grandchildren, Cara Smith and Ada Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home (1312 S Park St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Loretta will be remembered not only for her contributions to healthcare but also for the deep love and compassion she shared with everyone around her.
