He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis W. Earnest, Sr. and Mary Leslie Williams Earnest. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Wingo Earnest; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Earnest of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth Earnest of Carrollton and Michael Walter Earnest, Jr. of Carrollton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Haralson County Veterans Museum or the American Legion Post #143.
