With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Shackelford (Carrollton, Georgia), who passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lee Shackelford to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shackelford and Effie Walker Shackelford; his brothers, Larry Edward, Harlin, Wayne and Jerry; and his sister-in-law Peggy (Harlin).

He is survived by: his son Greg (Joanne); his grandchildren, Bethany Hutcheson (Matt) and Jay Shackelford (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Hailey Denney, Logan and Lauren Shackelford; his daughter Julie Barron (Chuck); his granddaughters, Trish Engle (Michael) and Hope Weathersbee (Allen); his great grandchild Mikayla; and his siblings-in-law, Anna, Charlotte Shackelford and Mike Musick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made to Alzheimer's Group of Carroll County, PO Box 1273, Carrollton, Georgia 30112.
