Karen M. Winters Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Karen M. Winters of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Brooklyn, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Gerard Stapleton, Sr.; her husband James Winters; her parents, George Ekstrom and Dorothea Ekstrom (Hogstead); her children, Gerard Stapleton, Jr. and Kathleen Stapleton; and her stepson Jimmy Winters.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Stapleton (Rachel) and Mary Mohr; and her stepchildren, Shirley Marrota, Michael Winters and Danny Winters. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family members and a host of friends.
