He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Whitworth and Effie Eller Whitworth; his siblings, Marvin Whitworth, Ellen Alexander and Ann Bennett; and his great grandchild Boston Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Harrison Whitworth; his children, LeDeana Waters, Keith Whitworth (Tammy), Kelly Dickinson (Doug) and Tonya Hearn; and his brothers, Joe Whitworth and Johnny Whitworth.
